I broke my game with 'preload scene'?
G'day g'day,
Hmmm... working on an interactive book. When I swiped to a page with an interactive element (click object and another object also appears in the scene) this extra element would flash briefly as the page loaded so I thought I would be clever and click the 'preload scene' just for each of these pages. So now I get black pages everywhere in the editor and the book. I went in and changed all the 'preload scene' pages to NOT and nothing has changed - and I have double checked I returned all to their previous state... any tips?
I seem to learn best by making assumptions and hence mistakes sometimes (a lot).... rather painful and you guys are wearing it.... boo hoo.... I hope someone can save my sanity.... (what's left of it, bwahaha)
a slightly manic,

RE: Newby question about hide/show graphic
Now i'm on the imac, can see better !!! Yeah I just wanted to touch on an object, something else appears, then it disappears when you click on the object again. I like trying different ways though as I think it would help me get a better grip of what hyperPad does. How I did it, I think is how GameCRAZY suggested. You guys are awesome by the way!!!!!

RE: Newby question about hide/show graphic
Thankyou so Much!
Murphy's law, I just made it work after watching a tutorial on something else in hyperPad! I placed the graphic on my scene, then hide graphic in behaviour... then triggered by another object being touched, pretty much like the second commenter (I can't see your post replying). So freaking obvious!
I'll suss Aiden's way too because I really want to get a good grasp on how hyperPad works and I think learning by doing is good stuff!
Thankyou!!

Newby question about hide/show graphic
Hi hyperPad peeps,
I'm seeking some advice. i am working on an interactive book concept and in the scene I have a background set. I want a graphic to appear when an object is triggered (touched), then to disappear when it is triggered again. I'm not really sure how to do it, the ways I have tried are not working. How would you go about it? Or can you point me to the right tutorial? Please pretty please :)

RE: Clicking on objects in scene
Hi Aidan,
Thankyou!
When I went in to it today it was all working as it should... does the app glitch out now and then? Was so odd!
Thankyou again for your response!

Clicking on objects in scene
Hello,
I am really enjoying trying to work out HyperPad. I'm a graphic designer with a little web coding experience as well as Flash, etc. but it is taking me a little to get used to how this app all works.
I'm not sure what I did but now I cannot move or highlight an object on a scene anymore. Ive looked through your documentation and I can't work it out. I'm guessing it is something really simple...
My game concept is really a glorified interactive book, so I'm just using basic actions, swipe and open next scene type stuff.
Also I wondered, Is there an acceptable total asset file size that shouldn't be breached?
Thanks...
a new HyperPad fan,
Donni
