Attribute edit deadzone

I reported this issue a while back, but it still hasn’t been addressed.
When you have a list of attributes on an object that scrolls, or just reaches the bottom of the available space, you can’t select the bottom attribute without first selecting one you didn’t want to pull up the keyboard.
Can make a sample project if needed.
