Set Graphic changes based on bottom left edges

Almost all images and objects seem to default to a 50%, 50% anchor point. Which makes sense for most things and when it's consistent.
However, when switching out graphics by using the Set Graphic Behaviour, if the image is of a different size to the original (smaller shows this best) the incoming graphic is seemingly placed in the bottom left corner of the original image's bounding box rather than having it's centre located on the centre of the original image's location.
I hope this makes sense. Diagram if not. Screenshots if that's not enough.

I don't know how I've never noticed this before, I'm having the same thing.
I guess because of collisions and grid snapping I've just always used the same canvas size graphics when I use set graphic...
