Selecting Pan Tool Drops Current Selection

Selecting an object with the move tool

Choose Pan tool

Object currently Selected is "dropped"

Particularly annoying when wanting to scroll and zoom to where I'd like to consider moving the object without risking moving or adjusting something else accidentally due to the overtly active nature of the move and select tools.

This is primarily how Pan should work, that selecting Pan not drop the current selection, but is more important than normal in hyperPad because Move and Select have issues with regards remaining active whilst in two finger touch (pan and zoom) usage.
