Retrigger move by
-
I have a stoppped touching triggering a move by, and a while touching triggering a different move by that has interrupt movement toggle turned on. As expected when I stop touching, the 1st move by is triggered. And if I start touching again, the while touching triggers the 2nd one, stopping the 1st. This is what I expect since the interrupt movement is on. But, when i stop touching again and the 2nd move by is triggered again, instead of moving by the distance its set to, it basically moves by the difference of what it should move and where it got cutoff but the other move by.
So if it was moving by 5 and i start touching when it has only moved 3, then stop touching again, instead of moving by 5 again, it moves by 2. I need it to move by 5 again! This probably makes no sense.....if anybody understands, please help!

I take it no one understands lol!

@itap-development use that Apple Pencil(tm) to map what you're attempting to express with arrows and time, etc.
-
@itap-development So do the Stopped touching move by and the While touching move by both have a duration other than 0?
-
@deeeds I’m going to make an example when I have the chance
-
@aidan-oxley the stopped touching does, which is where the problem is coming from since it can get interrupted by the other move by.
-
@itap-development That's not what I'm suggesting. And the longest way to solve the problem.
Simply explain what you're trying to do, with a flow chart.
-
@itap-development An example would be good for me, or you can make a flow chart for deeeds 😛.

Or just explain what this is:
interrupt movement toggle turned on
-
@deeeds have you used move by?

I’ll assume not....basically, as indicated by the name, it toggles on or off the option to have the move by interrupt movement. To find it, look for the phrase “interrupt movement” with a green toggle to its right. This is what it looks like:
