Collided Impulse?
-
What is this supposed to return?
I'm getting 0, every single time, regardless the amount of impact force/momentum involved.
-
@Deeeds Weird, Iโm getting โnanโ (not a number) every time, regardless of velocity. @administrators whats happening here? I have a test project, both objects are physics non passable drag and drop, collision impulse is always โnanโ http://bit.ly/2BVtEBq.
-
@Aidan-Oxley I get nan if one is a wall, 0 if they are both physics.

@iTap-Development @administrators @Aidan-Oxley
I think it should be providing how much collision force is being applied to an object.
When I first started experimenting with hyperPad I was getting a number from the impulse, of some sort, and tested it to drive a volume setting of a sound effect. And it worked. It had a range of results that I tested for, then multiplied to get a range of volumes that made sense.
Then I threw away that test, and remembered I'd have that impulse figure available for sound effect volume settings in the future.
Now that I want it... I can't replicate it giving me anything about that impact.

@Deeeds yeah Iโve used it before and gotten results. It must have gotten broke๐
-
Hmm. I think something is broken with it. Thanks for the test project. will get it fixed asap!

@Hamed In some cases, very rarely, I've seen massive numbers being reported. By massive, I mean those kinds that have "E" in them. Billions, or bigger.
Further, I've tried checking both sides of a collision. Both doing the same, reporting zeros, 99% of the time. Sometimes the enormous numbers.
