Can you import particles from other softwares?
-
Try it. I'm not sure cause I've never tried it.
-
i dont think you can. theres no load function. I have this particle script I would like to use. I wish there was a way to import it.
-
Looking through a project file, the particles are in folders with two .png images (one for the thumbnail, one for the particle graphic) and two .plist files (one that does something to do with reading the folder, one with the particle settings). So if the particle file was somehow a plist, it would be possible to manually edit a project file and add a particle effect, if it's worth the effort.

@Aidan-Oxley i will try this out thanks.
-
You should be able to use any plist particles designed for cocos2d.
-
@Hamed how do you import them?
-
You can either do it manually as @Aidan-Oxley suggested, or zip it up and rename the zip to a
.ptl
file open with hyperpad. -
@Hamed Cool, I didn't know we could import particles.
-
You can also export particles too!

@Hamed again thanks for the help. The Fps on my game is like butter now. Also did you release the update yet
