Arrays Don't like Negative Numbers

@iTap-Development try the second part...
-
@Deeeds if I understand what you mean, I don’t see how any of that is impossible.
-
@Deeeds I can’t reproduce the error, you won’t give a test project showing the error, so as far as I know there is no error and you’re probably just doing something wrong. You can’t just prove this through argument if no one else can reproduce the error you get. The reason we reply to your forum posts is because we want to try to help, but you make it hard to help.
-
@Aidan-Oxley It happened to me. I did nothing unusual. I repeated the process. I saw it happen again.
I restarted the iPad, did the process again... and it didn't happen again.
I didn't change anything other than the restart.
AND I DO NOT NEED PROVE ANYTHING TO YOU!!
Why imagine I need do that?
Why do you imagine I answer to you, in any way?
Just relax, deal with the fact that this happened, twice, and the other things listed, too...
-
@Aidan-Oxley exactly!
-
@Deeeds Then I’m done here. I can’t help you. And probably no one can.
-
@Aidan-Oxley I DID NOT ASK FOR HELP!!!
Where do you get that from?
I simply described an experience that looks like a bug in a chain of weirdness.
Stop making RIDICULOUS assumptions and look at what's actually being said.
-
@Deeeds I didn’t see the part where it didn’t happen again after restarting iPad. What I’m saying though is, if no one can reproduce the bug, the hyperPad can’t fix it. But restarting hyperPad fixed it, so idk what happened but it’s not happening anymore.
-
@Aidan-Oxley if deleting contentious comments is your form, you're going to LOVE stackoverflow.
No, you speculated that I asked for help and deleted it when I admonished you for it.
-
@Deeeds I deleted it because it was stupid that I posted it without reading your whole story. Fine I’ll restore it then.
-
This post is deleted! -
I’m pretty sure the HyperPad devs themselves would like a project which is creating the issue you speak of.
-
@Kamdroid I'm pretty sure he's capable of asking for himself, if (and when) he needs it. Until then, I have other things to do.
-
@Deeeds if I were you I wouldn’t accuse @Aidan-Oxley of making assumptions.
You said, “that even an overworked and grossly underpaid (and isolated) Hamed
should know about and put somewhere on his near infinite todo list.”Then said, “Stop making RIDICULOUS assumptions”
Um....what?Everybody is just trying to help get the problem fixed, and just want your Cooperation.
I don’t see how sharing an example is so hard.....you could have done it 100 times instead of all the posts explaining why you won’t! -
@iTap-Development If you care so much, you should read the whole thread, and all the other bug reports and issues I've written about.
I'm NOT going to spend extra time on each and every one of them, or any one of them, until asked by someone in a position to do something about it. That should be common sense.
As to the assumptions about Hamed.... I note you've avoided the most important one...
-
@Deeeds I have read the whole thread. And what assumption did I avoid? I copied and pasted. I thought I had them all. And NONE of them were important lol
-
@iTap-Development The bit about the majority of the code being written by someone else...
-
@Deeeds also, it’s common sense to be able to demonstrate the problem.
-
@Deeeds how do you know that?
-
@iTap-Development It's not a problem. It's a bug.
There are so many bugs in hyperPad that I'm sure Hamed has his work cut out for him, and will know much of the relationships between them and where they stem from. Simply pointing them out to him, that they happen, and where they happen, will probably reinforce his perceptions of some areas of sources of problems.
In other cases he may well not know about it, and will likely ask, specifically, how and what lead to it... and I'll help him then. Until then, I don't feel compelled to waste more time on any one bug when I can continue exploring hyperPad and find many more... that I have to work around to achieve what I want, and report on when I feel the need/desire/point.
I'm going to assume you've never worked with a project sized code base.
