How do I revert to the last save?
-
I've only seen Quit and Save, which I presume uploads to the cloud, cause it takes forever.
But there doesn't seem to be another way out of the current project...
However I want to exit this project without saving it, so I can open the last saved version.
How is this done?
-
@Deeeds I don’t think it can, for now.
Also, I think that when you play your project or drag in a behaviour it autosaves (Very useful - I’d of lost heaps of work if this weren’t implemented)
I think the project only starts uploading to the cloud (if you enabled it) when you’re back in your project list.
-
@Kamdroid Why does my project take MINUTES to zip and save onto the device when it's only got a few small images and sound files in it?
-
@Deeeds I have no idea, mine is fairly fast, even for quite a big project.
What iPad model and version do you have?
-
@Kamdroid first big iPad Pro. It was super fast, for quite a while, but just recently started stalling out horribly. Oddly, during a time I've added almost nothing to it.
-
@Deeeds I’d contact the developers
-
@Deeeds It doesn’t matter, hyperPad is already saving stuff you add as you go. I’m pretty sure about this because I’ve had a project crash while I was editing it and when I came back to it all the stuff I added was there (my behaviour positioning was messed up though, had to clean them up). Only way to get a previously saved version is to either keep duplicating your project, or trying to find it in iCloud backups.
-
@Aidan-Oxley It's not using iCloud backups, I don't think. I'm pretty sure it's going to s3
-
@Deeeds I think @Aidan-Oxley is right, changes are saved as you build. As for “save and quite” it is saving a backup of the project(only if automatic backups is on). Go to the ‘my backups’ page to restore any version.
I think they should add an option to leave the project without a backup happening though.
