      By all means explain all of these things you have posted and as many more as you can.

      Without detailed instruction Hyperpad will remain a mystery and not develop into a widely used platform.

      You have my vote.

    • RE: hyperPad: Overhaul

      From the standpoint of any kind of paying user - I think allowing the "Night Time" dark interface theme is quite important.

      If you look at the way Unity has restricted a Dark Theme to Pro users - and the resulting uproar among users - it may save you from this kind of flack if you give people a break, now. For many it is a health issue, not a luxury feature or an advanced feature.

      I think the tier price points are really reasonable - for nearly every conceivable user - so no change is needed there.

      But, the name "Indie" for every platform I can think of implies "making games for money". Perhaps you could consider naming the $4.99 tier to "Enthusiast". I would avoid the name "Hobbyist" like the plague - or even "Amateur". Nobody likes a label that puts them in an inferior category.

      This is why, in serious forum circles, the term "Newbie" should be utterly abandoned.

      Now it works and I have remained logged in - despite leaving HyperPad.com.

      Thanks.

      @Hamed

      I'm using Chrome on my desktop Mac - and cookies are enabled.

      I just tried returning to the HyperPad Home Page and clicking "Forum" and it still requires me to log in.

      @Hamed

      I usually go through the main HyperPad website and click on the "Forum" button. I always get the "login" dialog - and there is no checkbox for "keep me logged in" present.

      I just tried it again - same result.

    • Please Provide a "Keep Me Logged In" Checkbox for Forum

      Murtaza:

      Having a particularly long email address - I'd rather not have to enter that address and my forgettable password every time I wish to view the Forum contents. I think I am not alone in this desire.

      Also, curious and new users may be tempted to visit the Forum less, if they must enter and re-enter this information. The Forum is a good place to promote HyperPad and demonstrate how powerful, yet simple it is.

    • Cannot Examine "Behaviors" on Hub Examples

      I managed to download one example from the Hyperpad "Hub" and it appears in my Library. I downloaded this to analyze the Behaviors used in this example. I supposed that I could open this "Game" by clicking the "Pencil" icon (or highlighting the Sample and then clicking again).

      I get a "No Permissions" warning and the example will not open.

      Can someone tell me the proper way to open and examine the Behaviors for Hub Examples? I have a "Developer" subscription.

      Thanks,

    • Please Bring Back Dark UI for Hyperpad

      I would be 10 times more enthusiastic about Hyperpad if it provided Users with a Dark Interface Theme - like GamePress provided.

      As a person who has been producing Art, Animation and Interactive Experiences on the Apple Platform since 1985 - I can testify to the relief that tired and damaged eyes can experience by working in an application that uses a dark or, at least, darker interface than Stark White (which is just a current style trend in Application UI's).

      Since HyperPad is really a coding application (visually speaking) - one can expect to spend many, many hours in front of the iPad's screen - (Retina Blasting) - if he is in the App-Making business.

      Please show your appreciation for long time developers by providing us with Eye Preservation and Retina Relief (through the enabling of a Hyperpad Dark Interface Theme).
