@LinkoGames
I polished the graphics myself. πSome people would give me sketches and I would make it a thing, it takes some steps to perfect it. :)

This is a topic where I post sneak peaks of my new updates/games and upcoming features. (Feel free to suggest an idea)

@supersean I use a socket.io server which handles all the incoming traffic, I use heroku to deploy and make my server.
Let's start with github (a website), you can see examples of socket.io projects but we are looking for a chat example, we only want to send and retrieve stuff.
You can use socket.io's chat example and deploy it on Heroku. The url of the server is what you can connect with hyperPad. If you need some help setting a server yourself, reply and tell me what you specifically want. ;)

@supersean There are a lot of steps and it can be very confusing, I understand if you want me to deploy your server. :3

@supersean There is a text input behavior. To get the output like what someone typed, you select an another behavior where you want the output to go to.
It's hard to explain and understand at first, you should read the manuals. :3 -
@supersean This manual. π

What Manual? π€!
If you press the "Learn" button at the bottom of hyperPad the first option is the manual.

Awesome! Got the login and sign up function to work, sync your data with your old BotPixel account or make a new account.

Also, main menu's looking good. (Obviously not all the features will work) I will release an update soon. π
Once the servers are working and going, I'll start working on the menus and then I'm onto game modes.I'll see what I'll do after... π€

@robinsonx I'm a few days late, but make sure your login forms are secure and you don't store people's passwords in plain text.

@robinsonx How smooth does the game run on your device?
I'm getting pretty bad lag and now sound stutters. Bit conserened about hyperPad's performance. -

I'm getting pretty bad lag and now sound stutters. Bit conserened about hyperPad's performance.What iPad are you running, what OS, and are you jailbroken?
We test hyperPad on iPads as old as the iPad 2. Obviously the iPad 2 won't be as fast as the latest iPads, but in our test it typically handles most smaller to medium projects decently well. It heavily depends on what you're doing as well. Large graphics, graphics with a lot of empty space/transparency, complicated logic (loops, spawning, etc.) lots of objects, and particles will all cause performance issues and should be used sparingly.
The graphics engine is not that bad, but it expects users to take some care in how they create their projects. Yes, we could implement features that handle a lot of stuff for you, but then it sacrifices power and you wouldn't be able to create awesome projects like this.
