If I mirror an object from Scene ABC to Scene XYZ and duplicate the mirrored object inside Scene XYZ, can I make changes to the duplicated object in Scene XYZ without these changes being reflected in the mirrored object of Scene XYZ and the original object in Scene ABC?

@Deeeds I would assume so, since duplicate is making an independent object from the original. But a simple test would answer.

@Deeeds Why don’t you test it?

@Aidan-Oxley It’s understandable he wouldn’t want to, though. It would probably take almost 30 seconds.

                  @iTap-Development 30 whole seconds?! Now I understand. 😂

                      Right back at you both.

                      Your 30 seconds starts....now!

@Deeeds I have more important things to do with my 30 seconds. Such as explaining to you how I don’t want to spend 30 seconds making a test project for mirrored objects.

@iTap-Development Every other claim you've made that I've seen, so far, has been false. Or wrong.

Why should I believe you this time?

@Deeeds another words, I tested it.
It actually took about 31 seconds, but who’s counting?!

I just tested it. Following the steps of your first post.
So unless you doubt your own steps.....

@iTap-Development Like you tested spring and pivot joints?

@Deeeds if you would just play the project you wouldn’t have make up stupid things.
Do you think I made my own joints and springs for the truck?

Keep digging. You'll get to the point where you realise you're wrong in your assumptions of how joints should behave, one day...

@Deeeds but seriously, you challenged us to test your mirroring question(in 30 seconds lol), I did, and now your trying to tell me I didn’t? 🤦‍♂️ Please try to at least be sensible in your false accusations.

@iTap-Development No. Not trying to tell you that you didn't test it.

I'm suggesting your testing is unreliable because you can't ascertain the difference between how physics simulations should behave and what they're actually doing.

Whilst you don't know this stuff, you're wandering around smashing your head against your mirror, in daylight, without recognising (or seemingly even seeing) that it's your reflection you're bumping into.
