I want the editor to be free so I can make games for free

How do you expect them to pay their bills if it’s free, and more importantly how do you expect them to support their family if its free?

@dumbTactics Thanks for considering the developers' side. :) I've known them for years and they're very kind and happy people.
Sometimes, they actually lose money maintaining hyperPad but they still keep going - that shows how much they care about their software and community; a lot of us take that for granted. -

I'm starting to think these must be kids that pay no rent in real life.
I am pretty sure no responsible adult would ask such things. They would be grateful with the superbly low price, for such a powerful tool.
Regarding the devs contribution...
I truly hope the recognition arrives, it's engineering feat with such powerful potential.
Hopefully, once a legion of talented creators, arise from constantly practicing, that's when I think hyperPad will explode.
Visual Novels, RPG's Fighting Games like street fighter, card battlers. But...
using original assets, original animations, original sfx & music... that's when I see the explosion.
At the moment it seems the same ol' assets in lots of the creations. But i get it, everyone is still learning.

@dumbTactics :) hyperPad's got potential. I think some things need to be cleaned up before we actually blow up. The Hub is currently not in its best shape, upvoting can take a couple tries, replies don't indent under comments, sometimes pressing play takes you to another page, etc.
They're working on a new Hub that would presumably fix all of these issues and it would also bring a lot of new stuff like achievements, badges, starred projects and more! But don't take my word for it, I'm not sure if the new Hub will be coming soon. 😅 but when the new Hub releases, hyperPad will be ready to go viral.

@dumbTactics Projects on the hub can be branchable.
When a project is branchable, that means it is open-sourced and anyone is free to modify and redistribute its software.
