Cant Open Xcode Project
-
Even though we target an older iOS, apple requires you to use a newer Xcode to build with a later version of swift which is what one of our dependencies use.
You need to be on at least Xcode 13 to build a project
-
@Murtaza I was afraid of that. Xcode 10.1 is the highest my Mac Os will support. Is there a way you guys can create the certificates and everything needed from xcode on your end and I can do the rest within itunes connect.
-
@Murtaza so i got a mac running xcode 14.1 and when i launch the xcode project that was emailed to me it keeps saying failed to build. I included a screenshot
-
-
It also doesnt let me run or build the project because it says failed to build. regardless what simulator device I choose. i am on xcode 14.1
-
@SplitMindGaming those are warnings and can be ignored. Can you screenshot filtering by red errors?
Also are you using an M1 Machine?
-
@Hamed its not a M1 Machine. I got it to work where it only shows 1 error which is a undefined symbol that says OBJC_CLASS$_GameAnalytics and because of this it fails to archive or build to submit to the app store
-
-
@Hamed i also just tried to hire someone from fiverr to submit the app for me and they too are telling me there is a game analytic error preventing them from archiving. Please let me know how I can remove this error. I am not on a m1 mac. Im on a 2015 macbook air running xcode 14.2 which is the latest one.
-
@Hamed not sure if this has something to do with it not building or finding the gameanalytics. But some of these frameworks on the hyperpad file is in red indicating it cant find the path or its missing?
