MORE NEW THINGS I have had time to make lots of new things. And by lots I mean 2 demos

I have completed the beta tests for the coloring game and the flower watering game. As you can see. I’m planning to add more artworks to the coloring game at a later point
It was a little tricky to find out what worked for the coloring game. At first I had a bunch of tiny balls you’d swipe over to color the picture but that lagged the game like crazy so I changed it to the segmented part you see here. Not much to say on the flower game front but the MUSIC playing during that segment is from living with the land. Yes the ride. from Epcot. it was the most garden song I could think of. I was going to put music in the painting game but cuz of all the sound effects it just. didn’t work. I think. so oh well
anyways I’m thinking maybe there will be one or two more games???? Demos. and then I will work on all the art. Once all the game demos are done I might release a beta test as I have said before (I think)

OH AND BY THE WAY the music used in the games are
an edited version of Ice Cream by Capsule (bubble game)
the Royale High Baking Class Theme (cake game)

HELLO IM HERE WITH A NEW UPDATE!!????!! HWAT?????
I have been working on the GAEEEMMMMS. the games. there will be areas that you can explore in the world and each area will have 1 game attached to it.
Right now to share I have the bubble popping game found in the caves and a very really version of the cake matching game in the bakery. The reason why that one is so early is because I’m just. Proud of it. it took me so long to get the code to work my god

anyway, i think im gonna put together some more beta builds for the mini games and THEN add polish to them later and also do all the environments after. That way once I have enough games that are playable I might be able to release a test version of the game for people to try.

A while ago I was working on a game called dizbiz and . Honestly. If you couldn’t tell. I had to can that. I was working on a lot of different things and wasn’t really working on that game. Even if I was to return I’d have to redraw ev’rything since my art has improves since I last touched it and I. Don’t wanna do that
BUT I HAVE NEW THING. NEW ORIGINAL THING!! ITS CALLED tales from toad hall AND IT IS IN early stages of development
I have been working on the idea for this for a while. Since October of last year. Eventually the idea manifested as a mock tablet edutainment game from the early 2012s about a fake children’s show that doesn’t exist. But the goal of the project is to go in depth enough to maybe convince at least one person on the internet that it was a real show
Anyway since only a few people use the forums here I’d say it’s safe to post updates occasionally when I have something new to share. I don’t want this project to end up canned since it’s an idea I’m really passionate about, so I will be working on it in the background alongside other things ( if you want to find other things then look here https://themerpygirl.carrd.co/ wink wink)
Anyways today I present to you!!!!!! Character bios for the main cast!!!! That you can read! These’re all my own characters and I love them !

There probably won’t be another major update for a little while since again. I’m working on 7 billion things at once and it’s fun and I can do it and I want to do it but it means the game will take a while. So have fun forgetting about it until I have another things to show you!!! thanks

PROGRESS UPDATE 2
Main Street is coming along nicely. I have the interiors of some buildings that I’m working on at the moment and the layouts probably won’t be 100% accurate to real life but that is okay because there are characters that you can TALK TO !!! do you see them !! They are there yay!!!


The plan is for there to be 3 main buildings on MIAN street that you can go inside, those being the emporium (the yellowish one) the confectionery (the purpleish one) and the theater(I haven’t worked on that yet) and there’s going to be like. A quest system. Kind of where you talk to the characters and there’s a story that you follow and it’s gonna be cool but I have to make everything look nice first before I implement that !

PROGRESS UPDATE HELLO!!!!! work has been going semi smoothly, but I feel like I haven’t really done a lot and that is because alongside the game I’m also currently working on a webcomic and that has been taking up my time, especially since I have a set schedule to post but I’ve been working putting buildings in Main Street. There are two buildings so far but that is because I have to draw them completely in procreate and it takes a while but it looks good so whatever!!!

I am also planning to add insides in some of the buildings with CAHARCTERS taht you will be able to TALK TO and stuff and it’s gonna be REALLY COOL!!!! oh my god is that Minnie Mouse

@NeilSenn HELLO SORRY IT TOOK TEN DAYS TO REPLY HOLY crap. On the hyperpad app the “submit” button when you went to make a reply was covered by the ui and I think I broke the message format so I couldn’t get back to you untill I thought to check the website literally right now

AS FOR YOUR MESSAGE. I’ve tried doing that. it didn’t workBUT. thank you for telling me about the in/out sine transition I completely disregarded doing that when I made the code for the pet (cheer drop) since I copied the code from the original game and I didn’t have a transition for the movement of the thing in the original game so!!,n thank you for t mentioning that! !!

YESS YOU HEARD THAT RIGHT!!!!!!

If you used hyperpad at around 2022 to 2023 you might remember a little game called dizbiz (and by extension cheerdrop racing). If you haven’t heard of it before you can um. search it up. but I haven’t updated it in literally two years so some things might not work
ever since I stopped working on it it’s been at the back of my mind and a few days ago I received a wave of motivation to start working on the game again,… but I made the old game when I was like 12 and bad at art so I decided to completely remake the game from the ground up! This time there’s actual characters instead of miscellaneous gray man with hat
I have a little video showcase of what the game looks like so far, but unfortunately it’s too big for hyperpad so I put it on YouTube instead ! Here is the link

I will keep working on the game because it’s fun, and hopefully you’ll all get to play it soon!!!

@RobinsonX ! sorry that I didn’t respond sooner I was somewhere with my family yesterday!!! And um. I do not know what the beta is but I might try it

@RobinsonX I’ve tried, but when I put two play sound behaviors they just. wont play. like they’re fine separately but if I try and do both (with play music AND play sound (( I’ve tried changing the polyphony)) ) then both of them won’t play

title says it all. I want to have music in my game along with ambiance noises in the background but cant find a way to get them to play simultaneously

like isnt this whole app abt makin games and being creative and whatnot? why use ai??? literally defeats the whole purpose of the app
