    @Deeeds I’ve used all those and they work fine for event keys and broadcast value

      @Deeeds Yes. I made a new project just now to test again and it works fine.

      I can send you the project if you want.

        @Kamdroid I have just tried literal values in broadcaster Event Key and Receiver... and it didn't work, just like every other time... then, sitting here wondering what to type next... some 20 seconds plus later... the shit occurred. I have NO delays on this. And any other bubble text inserted at the same point pops up immediately. Something is wrong with the broadcasting in my special install.

          @Kamdroid Yes please. I still can't get variables etc to work, only the literals with a massive delay, at least 20 seconds.

            @Deeeds This example broadcasts with the same key as broadcast message, which is combination of combine text with get position and from the object’s attribute “AnAttr” which has the value “SomeAttr”

            So the receiver is listening to Obj 16, 18 SomeAttr

                @iTap-Development Stop. I've just solved this. I restarted iPad. I had a 20+ second on ALL messaging. Didn't notice because I was working in an isolated scene to try get this to work.

                  @Kamdroid Cheers. I'm going to learn something from this... how to handle attributes properly in hyperPad!

                    @Kamdroid @iTap-Development

                    I've learnt something else: to do a hard reboot iPad between iOS updates and uses of hyperPad.

                    I should probably point out that I updated iOS 11 to the latest beta this morning, and it seemed to go smoothly.

                    I should have known better.

                      @Aidan-Oxley I think it was you I was talking to about particle trails and smooth 60fps, but it just returned to that, too...

                      When in doubt, reboot iPad.

                      Silky smooth again, even where I have dozens of particle emitters going troppo.

                        @iTap-Development @Kamdroid

                        And, THANK YOU!!!

                        BOTH, so very much.

                        I'm so sorry to have wasted your time on this. And yet incredibly grateful because you both kept me going, in the belief that this CAN work, because I was beginning to think, shit... another thing that doesn't work in hyperPad.

                        Which might be a bad thing... cause I'll still be here posting more trite shite.

                        But, again, thank you!
                        And sorry.

                            @Deeeds it’s too late! I made it. http://bit.ly/2B1mati
                            However, I ran in to a similar problem with dynamically setting broad cast keys.
                            When you first open the project it won’t work. To get one of the three sets of mate and buddy to work, you have to go to the “buddy original” object and set the broadcast(the one under the if) to either “mate#1” “mate#2” or “mate#3”. Then one set will work.
                            @Murtaza or @Hamed why is this?

                              @iTap-Development This is going to sound weird, but I'm relieved you had trouble. I thought I was going insane, for the longest while. It was doing my head in.

                              A LOT of graphics effects and responses and scoring stuff I want to do was hanging on this ability.

                                @Deeeds did you find what I’m talking about in the project? Did you figure out why it does this?
                                I don’t think it happens when you just use numbers. It seemed to happen if I combine the number with text.

                                      @iTap-Development Yes, but as I say... I'm battling with the duplicate scene not being the same.... gimme some time to figure this out, as it's my "backup" way... so that I can move on and know that my backup is fine and my new "working" scene is the same. At the moment they're not the same, so I'm a little worried, because this is not only how I work but the only scene I have this process (above) actually working properly... in the duplicate it's no longer working properly.
