All I've been doing with hyperPad is checking the forums/hub almost every day to see if anyone else is doing anything 😛. Not actually working on any projects, I keep stopping and starting with my main project hard to find motivation for it.

Yup hyperPad is an iPad only app (thats were the PAD comes from ;) ) That being said, Apple is working on something that makes it easier for ios devs to port their apps to mac. So once these tools become available, we'll look into whats needed and maybe hyperPad will also be available for mac. @angilina009 the new iPad mini that Apple just released is very powerful and a great way to run hyperPad ;)

Yeah most of the assets are just PNGs, so you can import them into hyperPad easily!

Been having the same problems 😬 and I found it that the crashes are due to my global objects, either it's too many objects or it's the way the behaviors are connected as Hamed suggested.

@aidan-oxley said in Feature Request: Just went and played around with physics, iterations seems to be the main changer of squishyness, but refresh rate also had some effect on the actual physics and lowering it did seem to make physics a little squishier I think (higher refresh rate caused more violent physics explosions when I packed too many objects into a small area). #of physics iterations is how many times physics calculations are completed per frame Refresh rate is how many frames there are per second. They can both control the "squishiness"

Getting rewarded for putting out good projects and having a good part in the community would be cool. It'll surely motivate more people, even me. But yeah, make sure you balance it out so people can't just spam stuff to get rewarded, but actually sharing good quality stuff. Maybe even just virtual stuff, like achievements/badges/points. Currently I'm waiting for the beta to be released publicly so I can create games more efficiently.

@hamed Thanks. Yea, I saw some CORS proxies yesterday. However, some websites allow CORS which lets the browser get the data. I am pretty sure it is done via a header on the server: https://enable-cors.org/server.html The proxy works fine, but it would be faster to directly get the hyperPad HTML, and more stable as you don't rely on a third-party to retrieve the HTML. For now I'll be using a proxy by default, if the CORS is ever allowed it'd be great. I should be releasing my hyperPad info grabber library in a few weeks or so.

@hamed They are, thanks. There are minor colour conflictions on certain elements. In the Darkly theme the reply name is white text on a light grey background. Also the post/reply writing window is still white. [image: 3dd29847-2653-4b03-b1b6-dfd17d6b54b9.jpeg] [image: 186aef27-1f85-446f-a97c-ee5eeba5d170.png]

Wowies, stories are very motivative... Keeping mine a bit short.. Started learning basic coding at Elementary school, wanted to do some at home since it seemed fun, downloaded gamepress and experimented with behaviors, then HyperPad came by and I installed it. And here I am, doing whatever, having fun. :)
